Chimney Canopy is a region composed of large towers and broken structures extending above a ruined industrial landscape. It is potentially the third region visited when playing as Monk or Survivor, although this is a challenging path to take.

Overview

Chimney Canopy can be found in the upper central area of the world map, and connects other upper regions to Industrial Complex at its base. The region may present a difficulty spike for new players, as the high number of open-air rooms and the amount of climbing required makes the player vulnerable to Vultures, White Lizards and falling off platforms.

Subregions

The Gutter

The Gutter is a dim subregion in the Chimney Canopy consisting primarily of mucky water interrupting portions of land. The damp environment provides a home for predators including Centipedes, Spiders, Eel Lizards, Caramel Lizards, and Monster Kelp. Edibles spot the terrain and waters. Mushrooms, Bubble Fruit, Bubble Weed, Snails, Batflies, and Hazers are among these; as are the Garbage Worms dominating the colorful upper portion of the map. It links Chimney Canopy to Drainage System. Traversing left- past the den by the karma gate to Drainage System- leads the Slugcat to a maze. Eating a Neuron Fly may aid the Slugcat in traversing the subregion, as the glow dimly highlights the correct path.

• Rainbows have a chance to appear in certain rooms at the start of a cycle.
• The Gutter is one of the three subregions in Downpour that feature unique threat music layers.
• Preceding the Downpour DLC, Chimney Canopy was the smallest region ingame, having only 34 rooms.
  • This does not apply to the Downpour iteration of Chimney Canopy, due to the addition of the Gutter subregion.
