Name

We should change the name to fairy lizards. It's a better name and everyone in the MSC server who heard this suggestion preferred it over strawberry. It won't let me move the page to fairy lizard so I cannot do it myself, but please. Empathy Module (talk) 16:25, 25 January 2023‎ (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hiya Emp, these lizards are referred to as Zoop lizards in the translation files and Strawberry in the consolelog and devconsole, hence why both are included on the page for reference. We're avoiding community name suggestions that aren't based on the game files or code for consistency, and because the DLC hasn't been out for long enough to see such names embed (as with Squidcada, for instance).

We could type "also known as fairly lizards" in the start, but personally I really like the name "zoop lizards".

meme

I saw a meme one time with a blue lizard asking a cyan why it ate them instead of strawberries when strawberries are smaller and weaker. The answer is because strawberries have more than twice your health, and are nearly as agile as cyan lizards, and provide less food

so, lineage?

What do they lineage from? Bent is broken (talk) 15:28, 21 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Strawberry Lizards can lineage from several places, however the lineage dens that stop progression at strawberry lizards (As survivor) are SU_B08, SU_B12 Rightmost den, VS_C02 Rightmost den, and VS_C04. This means that if you kill the lizards that reside in these rooms enough, then they will always respawn as strawberry lizards. You can check the non-permanent dens and dens for other slugcats in the interactive map provided in all of the region pages. (Make sure to use the downpour version though) Hope this helps! Hearing?

The stealth section says that they have poor hearing, but the Lizards page says that all Lizards have a hearing multiplier of one. PainWorldDeadLookstotheMoon (talk) 15:56, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hmm good question, from the code it looks like it should be the same but from testing they do have poorer hearing. Then the issue is that lizards' hearing skill is affected by their running speed, and there are so many things that could affect running speed that it's hard to tell what specifically in their case could change things..
