  • There is a 1/10,000,000 (one in ten million) chance that a Red Lizard icon.png Red Lizard's bite may fail.
  • Red Centipede icon.png Red Centipedes always have 18 segments.
  • The cooldown before a Spear icon.png Spear can be picked up again lasts exactly 15 frames.

  • Lizards icon.png Lizards have an advanced rivalry system which causes them to get into territorial fights.
  • When hit by a Spitter Spider icon.png Spitter Spider's dart, anything incapacitated in a Lizard's mouth stays there even whilst the Lizard is paralysed.
  • Lizards icon.png Lizards emit particles from their head when they hear noise nearby.
  • Lizards icon.png Lizards become more and more aggressive toward investigating sounds the more noise any creature emits in rapid successions.

  • Infant Noodlefly icon.png Noodleflies die being grabbed even if immediately released.
  • It's possible for two Noodlefly icon.png Noodleflies to stab each other and die simultaneously.
  • When an Infant Noodlefly icon.png Infant Noodlefly cries out, the nearest adult attacks the closest creature to the offspring.
  • Noodlefly icon.png Noodleflies cannot kill Overseer icon.png Overseers but can still aggro onto them.

  • Scavenger icon.png Scavengers have three slots for holding items (two hands and a "pocket slot" on their side) and can hold extra spears on their back.
  • Garbage Wastes has the highest number of Scavenger icon.png Scavenger spawns, at 26 on all difficulties.
  • Like other Slugcat head.png Slugcat-sized creatures, Scavenger icon.png Scavengers' corpses can boost the player's speed in tunnels when held.

  • Lantern Mouse icon.png Lantern Mice and Scavenger icon.png Scavengers ignore each other.
