Trivia is transcluded from this page and used on the main page "Did you know" section. A few base rules here:
- We shouldn't include anything that could be considered spoilers. This includes mentioning creatures that are considered spoilers.
- Sections exist to help avoid including too many of the same trivia at once. The trivia shouldn't pick more than one item from a section to include, to make things interesting. (Subsections are purely for organization, so, this only considers the bottom-most section.)
- Each trivia point should be inside its own

Garbage Wastes
- It is possible to sit inside the pipe connection at the top of the Red Lizard unlock room without drowning.
Shoreline
- It is possible to bring Scavengers into Shoreline by loading the region while in a Karma Gate room with them. They can then be found in Looks to the Moon.
- Leviathans can eat Vultures.
- With the More Slugcats Expansion, Shoreline has 7 gates, the most out of any region.
- The Precipice is an isolated subregion of Shoreline that only connects to The Exterior.
Shaded Citadel
- Shaded Citadel was originally called Shadow Urban.
- In room SH_B11, there are 20 Coalescipedes that cannot reach the player due to level geometry.
The Exterior
Chimney Canopy
Sky Islands
- The Rain on the peak of the Communications Array is weak enough for creatures there to survive permanently.
Farm Arrays
Subterranean
- It is possible to scale the western fissure in Subterranean with Spears, a Grappling Worm or Any Explosives.

- Lizards were called "crocs" very early on in development.
- Some alpha builds of the game have the player stealing Lizard Eggs.
- Lizards have an advanced rivalry system which causes them to get into territorial fights.
- When hit by a Spitter Spider's dart, anything incapacitated in a Lizard's mouth stays there even whilst the Lizard is paralysed.
- Lizards emit particles from their head when they hear noise nearby.
- Lizards become more and more aggressive toward investigating sounds the more noise any creature emits in rapid successions.
- Lizards have 71 shared code profile parameters, most of which are used in calculations with other values.
- Passaging with a tamed Lizard in the shelter will also transport the Lizard.[v1.9 Remix only]
Green Lizard

- Green Lizards have the highest inter-species aggressiveness in the game.
- Green Lizards are immune to Red Lizard bites, unless the Red is tamed.

Squidcada
- It is possible to bring multiple Squidcadas from one region to another, starting with a white one and then bringing multiple black ones, resulting in a "colony".
Snail
- Snails give a burst of range and speed to certain moves when held including backflips, longjumps, and walljumps. This is likely a quirk of the physics engine.
- Snail pops are much stronger in water.
