Windchime
Windchime is a series of three trailers released between the initial DLC announcement and the reveal trailer, showing The Watcher standing in a room.[1]
Windchime 1 was posted on the 29th of August 2024. In the top-left of the screen, a low-opacity text reading "SEPTEMBER 19" is present.
Windchime 2 was posted on the 10th of September 2024. The audio track used in the video contains the word "CONSDIER"[引自原文] when analysed in a spectogram.[2]

Trivia
- Watcher as a concept name for Nightcat was revealed in the 2022 RWArtmonth developer stream.
- Watcher was originally going to be in vanilla Rain World.
- One of the sections in the ripple trailer shows Watcher with a colour identical to the background, making them blend in.
Notes
- ↑ While the first and the third Windchime trailer are titled as such on YouTube, there is no confirmed second Windchime trailer. A recording posted by Videocult on Twitter is grouped together as the second Windchime teaser here due to being similar in what it depicts and having a hidden meaning.
- ↑ Later promotional material uses the word "Consider" as a motif:
- The announcement of the Six One Indie Showcase by Akupara in the official Rain World Discord server was accompanied by an event with the description of "Consider".
- Sections in the monologue in the beginning of the Ripple trailer begin with "Consider".
- The Ripple trailer announcement in the official Rain World Discord server makes a comparison between "consider" and "consdier".
